FlyBack Energy's® L8000 intelligent Lighting Energy Saver (iLES) is a patented power management solution that helps owners of commercial and industrial lighting installations drive down costs. By reliably dimming magnetic-ballast HID lamps down to 5-% wattage, and recovering electromagnetic energy loss, the L8000 can product energy-related cost savings of 50% or more. An L8000 installation is simple and low cost, accomplished at ground level, one unit per-circuit at a time.
The L8000 iLES installs into an existing lighting circuit faster and with less cost and preparation tha any competitive solution, a simple (low labor) circuit level retrofit.
The L8000 iLES can reliably dim HID lamps lower and longer (friendly to older lamps) than any other dimming product.
The L8000 iLES is the only solution that allows dimming using existing magnetic ballasts and lower wattage lamps, which can bring additional energy cost savings.
The L8000 is available either as the L8030 (30 amp) or the L8020 (20 amp). Specifications are listed separately below.

FEATURES
- Recovers energy currently wasted as heat in magnetic HID lighting ballasts (metal halide, high pressure sodium) and magnetic fluorescent ballasts.
- Smooth linear dimming control of HID lighting, metal halide and high pressure sodium.
- Dims slowly to protect older lamps from dropping out.
